Hormonal Health Self-Care

This 4-Series Virtual Workshop will focus on learning about hormones and working towards finding hormonal balance.

Hormones are chemical messengers that have profound effects on your mental, physical, and emotional health. For instance, they play a major role in controlling your appetite, weight, and mood. Your body typically produces the precise amount of each hormone needed for various processes to keep you healthy. However, sedentary lifestyles and Western dietary patterns may affect your hormonal environment. In addition, levels of certain hormones decline with age, and some people experience a more dramatic decrease than others.

What you’ll learn:

  • Hormones that play a key part in keeping us feeling balanced

  • Anatomy, the nervous system and hormones

  • Nutrition and hormones

  • Mindfulness and stress management for hormonal health balance

  • Yoga

At the end of the series, you’ll develop a self-care plan and leave with a better understanding of your hormonal health.

When: Sundays, January 26, February 2, February 9, and February 16

Time: 12-2 PM ET on Zoom
